The Impact of Global Affairs and Domestic Politics on the Economy
We were honoured to welcome renowned economic analyst Mr. Bai Wen Chun (白文春老師) as our guest speaker at our Morning Assembly on 29 June 2026, where he shared his valuable perspectives on global affairs, Malaysia’s political landscape, and the evolving economic outlook.
Drawing on practical data and insightful analysis, Mr. Bai provided a clear overview of the transformation of global supply chains, the opportunities emerging across Southeast Asia, and the challenges and prospects that Malaysia is likely to face in the years ahead. His sharing encouraged us to think beyond current market conditions and better understand the broader forces shaping the global economy.
One of the most memorable messages from his session was:
“When facing Chinese enterprises expanding overseas, it is difficult to compete head-on. Instead, we should focus on building partnerships and leveraging each other’s strengths.”
We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Bai for his enlightening and thought-provoking sharing. His insights reinforced the importance of continuous learning, maintaining a global perspective, and embracing collaboration to navigate change and seize new opportunities in an increasingly interconnected world.
